Get in the Swing…

Bernhard Langer captured his 10th win on the Champions Tour at the 2010 Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am. He ended up winning by one stroke over Mark O'Meara and Mike Reid.

Langer's amateur playing partner, Rolf Klam took the pro-am portion of the event.

A Chip Off the Charity Block…

Charity contributions to the community have steadily increased since Outback Steakhouse became title sponsor six years ago .The Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am has been able to contribute over $3.4 million to area charities. The beneficiaries for 2010 are FARA (Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance) and Operation Homefront-Florida. Please check back soon for the 2011 tournament beneficiaries.

AND It’s Fun, Any Way You Slice It…

With the accessibility of our professionals and celebrities, we have shown the entire country how much fun this event can be. Celebrities who participated in the 2010 event included actor, activist, and author Michael J. Fox who wowed fans with his golfing abilities. George Lopez had spectators laughing each round. 2008 amateur champion Derrick Brooks was joined by former teammate Tampa Bay Buccaneer, Ronde’ Barber. Also competing were sports greats Emmitt Smith, Joe Theismann, and Vinny Testaverde. Former Dateline NBC host, Stone Phillips, participated for his third consecutive year.
